Wedding Crashers

wedding-crashers-r-rated-buddy-comedyNow I’ve only been to one wedding in my life when I was quite young, but if Wedding Crashers is right, they are full of lonely women who want to tie the knot. That’s the premise of “Wedding Crashers”, which has two grown men, John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) who take advantage of the “romance in the air” (that’s a nice way of saying the inadequacies and self-conscious feelings that fill women dealing with their biological clocks at weddings) to have sex with women. Well, at least they aren’t crashing funerals to take advantage of women’s biological clocks, right?

The life of a player is not all fun and games, kids

Anywho, the two party their way through life, getting laid while enjoying free drinks and food. How glamorous! Oh don’t worry, it’s really funny watching how they charm and seduce women, kind of like watching Barney from HIMYM (Except just a wee bit less hilarious). Of course, things can’t go on great forever. If you have ever heard the phrase “never stick your dick in crazy”, and have a passing knowledge of statistics, then you know that after wedding after wedding, sooner or later the inevitable will come to pass.

Of course, when you are a player, you probably don’t want to fall in love. Sooner or later, the past always comes up, and you end up hurting people or getting hurt.

Oh, and Christopher Walken is in Wedding Crashers. Christopher Walken = Watch this god damn movie.
